Another airfield question

Am I a pain in the neck or what. :wiggle:

Guess this goes along with me being so focused on getting everything turned right for my aircraft that I 'neglect' any issues with airfields I add in.

Well an who I have two airfields that have duplicate selection options from the airfield menu. I checked the scenery folder to which they are installed, but I can't any duplicate bgls.

The offending complexes are MN Ngesebus and MN Palmyra. When I select either entry for these fields it just lands me in the same spot as the other.

I'm just curious as to why they would have duplicate entries.

Have you scanned your Entire Root CFS2 Directory for duplicate BGL's?

Some of MR's stuff had directions for placing the BGL's outside of the SCENEDB Folder.

Duplicate airbase.dat entries are another good thing to look for.

I checked for duplicate bgls and for any errors in the airbase.dat. To be honest I don't have very many of my fields loaded in to the airbases.dat. I found no duplicates or errors.

Wolf, do these entries have to different numbers after them? Like MN Ngesebus 18 and MN Ngesebus 36?

OK, How about this, I know MR had Ngesebus as part of his original MN Scenery. I also know he updated it to GSL Scenery when he released his Palau collection. You'll find a MN_Ngesebus_Island.bgl and a MN_Ngesebus_Island_GSL.bgl. Do you have both GSL (destroyable objects) and bgl (non-destroyable) infrastructure on the field? Go shoot up/Bomb the base to check. Destroy everything if you can. If you can destroy some of the buildings, and others you can't, you've got both BGL's installed and active. One of the BGL's would be in the MR_Micronisia Folder the other in the MR Palau UNLIT OR MR Palau LIT folder. He did two versions of the same field, one with runway night lighting, the other without.

MN Palmyra on the other hand has never been GSL'ed to my knowledge....But, I think he updated it with Landclass/Waterclass type scenery in his MR Micronisia 080512 package. I haven't installed that one yet but from what I see it has quite a few Palmyra BGL's. It may have two BGL's with an AFD Entry in them....

That got it thanks!:woot:
