Awesome drawing Ian! I don't get around enough to the pencil and paper...here's some more with refined speculars...I love this prototype paint. CenturySeries did a great job. I barrowed some wings from the previous aluminum. I believe it's by DaveQ...and my hodge podge is coming together...I'm experimenting with it right now...not releasable in this condition...

Wow, wow, wow. Superb on the proto model. The red and white really pop against the shine. :encouragement::encouragement::encouragement:

I'm glad to see there's interest! I mainly do these because I'm interested in the subject-matter, so when others are also interested it makes it all the more enjoyable!

Thanks for the comment Rick :adoration: , I might take a leave out off your book, you can get metal acrylic paint for artwork. :encouragement:

I've been making a few more adjustments based in this image I've recently discovered. I've noticed that the B-58 really was very reflective naturally. seems like it depends on the lighting which its in, or cloud cover that allows the Reflection to be be muted or vivid. At any rate I'm making a few minor adjustments...

Great find. I noticed that the red paint stops abruptly at the co-pilot hatch. Not sure what the disc shaped feature is behind the pilots hatch, also not painted. What's interesting is how well scratches and stains come close to your texturing :encouragement::encouragement::encouragement:

@ dvj....Disclaimer I don't know for sure what the disc shaped object is...but of I had to guess I would say an ADF loop antenna mounted horizontally? at any rate...I think the red painted areas may be based on what photos were used as reference. I've noticed some variances between red and orange hue and slight differences in paint. I'm pretty sure CenturySeries dI'd way more research than I have! LOL. I noticed the scratches as well...I can assure you that mine "matching" is a monumental Fluke! But I'll take it! ;) I do try to make things as detailed as I could but I've not seen this photo until yesterday, so I'm really happy how it's turned out!

Complete will upload Tomorrow... :)

Changed the engine to more closely match the color...and a few bits more here and there...

Thanks guys! I'll package it up and upload after work today! Hope you all enjoy it! It's not perfect but I think it's good.enough to have some fun with!

Really an awesome looking paint Rick. It's getting to where I can't decide what to fly anymore! I have actually undertaken a comprehensive KEDW scenery just to accommodate this particular airplane.

Thank you sir!!

I would be seriously interested in your KEDW endeavors good sir...Can you PM me any details? ;)
