Really an awesome looking paint Rick. It's getting to where I can't decide what to fly anymore! I have actually undertaken a comprehensive KEDW scenery just to accommodate this particular airplane.
Thank you sir!!
Am very curious as to what you have in mind here. If it's a backdated (retro, maybe late 50s/early 60s) period KEDW, you have no idea how thrilled I (and doubtlessly a bunch others) would be. I have some materials on that period, if interested.
Rick - thanks so much - I was hoping either a trainer, Snoopy, or this prototype would catch your fancy - so thrilled you picked this one - simply magnificent.

This is an interesting idea. The current P3Dv2 modeling is actually quite good. What is missing is high definition modeling of the runways, infrastructure tarmac and lake bed. By adding these to enhance the current modeling, KEDW modern day would update quite nicely.
My dad was in flight test for Northrop in the late fifties and into the sixties. He was always out at Edwards, but we never really got any details at home. The idea of a KEDW in the glory years would be too good to resist.
To keep everything in perspective, I'm very deep in my current projects. That said, these projects are well along in development, soon to be released. Once I've crossed that hurdle, I'm looking at some of the sorely needed locations like Edwards and four others that I feel have been sadly neglected.
I'll be offline for ten days, so if I don't respond to this thread immediately, don't feel snubbed. I'll bump back in when I'm back up and running.
I released a snoopy one a while back with a "dirty" vc...although now I would want to redo it since having more experience and knowledge... like the snoopy version![]()
ps - if that's you on your HD, ride safe. I'm a dual-sport (KTM 690 rider) - always nice to meet fellow riders ...
The download for the v2 prototype is found in the SOH warbirds library only. I'll be updating it at some point with some additional changes but for now you can find it at SOH only.
