• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Another Catalina repaint found

Gajit: I know this is a stupid question so please dont be insulted, but the download button is on the bottom of the page and just worked fine for me.. Have you scrolled down that far to see it??

LOL - thanks for the advice but the problem is that once I have it downloaded I cannot unzip the files.

Much apprechiated for any help you can offer !! :ernae:
 
I too have what I think must be a similar problem - can download the zip and can even open it to display individual file icons but cannot access the contents of individual files inside the zip.
 
ahhh crap, ive just installed winzip 12, it looks like that might be the problem i will re up later on 2night after using a another version of winzip

can some try opening it with winzip 12 and see if thats the problem
 
Not a direct answer, as it's not related to Winzip12, but I know that when I zip files using the built in Windows XP zip functionality, half the time Vista users can't unzip them... Which is a bit silly, really.
 
Hello jeansy - let me first say that the repaints looks absolut great in the preview :ernae: I try to unzip the files with 7-zip and get also an error-message. When I look into it with 7-Zip I notice that all .dds have 0 KB after
extraction.

I'm sorry, but "Aerosoft_Cat_RAAF_A24_73.zip" don't works too...
BTW, I have XP and 7-zip but all this downloaded files are 0 Kb!

I don't have this aircraft (but am seriously considering it), but decided to download the file and check it out.

I don't use winzip, but instead winrar.

Downloaded fine, and it looks as if all the files are intact.

EDIT: Oooops, I'll take that back. Trying to extract the file didn't work, nor opening any of the files individually.
 
winzip 12 seems to be the problem with all m cat paints, ive just tried it with winzip 11 and i have the same problems everyone else has, i did a bit of looking around, and its got to do with the compression within 12

re zipping with winzip 11 and re upping them now
 
Aaargh, they look so good, I want to get started too!!
But no, I'm off to the south of France for another 3 weeks....oh well.
