Another Free French Blenheim up!

This one's a MkIVF, at least two of which inexplicably ended up in the hands of the Free French bomber flight based at Fort-Lamy in Chad in late December. They went on to be used in the attack on Italian troops Khufra Oasis in Libya in support of Colonel Leclerc's column, and subsequently served in Egypt.

They'll appear under CFS3 aircraft/French.

Interesting - that is the same photo as the one I've used, but here the serial is legible as Z5725, while on my photo, it's not legible. My source (Batailles Aeriennes no.26) gives this aircraft in a profile as Z5728, but identifies the same aircraft in a photo on another page as Z5725. I hadn't spotted that...

Too late anyway.

Actually, on the site you give, the discussion follows:

Bonsoir Marc,

And here's its friend, from the same photo:

Nice work Nigel.
I have a photo of this plane "Le Fana de l'aviation" hors série n°10
With a magnifying-glass I read T1875 (black or red) on the fuselage.
