Aleutians

Hiya! I took a look there but couldn't find anything on the Aleutians. They'd sure be handy to have......any ideas?

Alpha; go to Google and type in "aleutian islands ww2" (omitt the qoutation marks). Then sit back and take your choice. I found alot of sites doing that. Too many to list here

Hi Fibber.....

Yup, I've done that and you're right, of course. I was looking for exact runway data from back then in particular. You know how it goes, found a ton of stuff and got locked in looking it over.....saved some pics, etc. and pages of interest for sure.

I'm not a scenery guy but if I can come up with lots of pertinent info like exact layouts and lat, etc. perhaps I can interest someone in doin' some building.
