Another: Looking at new vid card.......

Highly Highly recommend this:
CORSAIR DOMINATOR-GT 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)

This is the best memory to use with FSX and most gaming today! Also overclocks beautifully!
Ted

By the way, an instruction manual comes with the memory look at all the options and be sure and install the fan that comes with the memory!

Just have to ask:kilroy: - since I am a Kingston fan....what compares to the corsair dominator's?? The Hyper x's?? and why would you say either pro or con - Thanks - Hope this will run FXS happily w/ some usual tweaks - Love it with the latest upgrades - and would like to see more:engel016: Now to compare Newegg to my comp guys prices....Thanks for all the directions. Chris

Under rigorous testing [FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]HyperX DDR3-2000 triple-channel 6GB memory kit with a cache latency rating of 8-8-8-24 could not even keep up with Dominator GT DDR3 1600. It also could not sustain the overclock temperatures needed to maintain 4.0 Ghz on air. Of course you choose whatever suits you but I can tell you factually that Corsair Dominator GT is the best quality OC memory available. I would also mention Mushkin Redline series memory as a very close in performance to Dominator.

Two fairly good reviews of Corsair Dominator GT and HyperX
Dominator:

HyperX 2000

Our testing at TechCorp is much more extensive than these tests

Yes it should fix fine..

They are both full ATX Motherboards...

Thanks for the answer - Got another one....Will the Noctua cooler and the fans for the Corsair Dominator interfere/fit with each other - Thanks for your time - I don't plan on overclocking at first, but you don't know how long that will last....Chris

Thats hard to say...

Go read the reviews on both the memory cooler and the CPU cooler..many times they say what all their equipment are , and if something did not fit,.

Other than that , you can leave the mem cooler off .. Its not all that necessary and will run OCed just fine without it !

Couple more questions....Are there different makes of the i7 975 extreme editions(which and why)? and what full size atx cases are better in your opinion. with enough room for all the cooling fans and whatnot(all air) - Thanks Chris
