Beautiful work Jankees. Makes me want to open my wallet... The B/C model P-51s are some of my favorites.

Mr.Bob

Gorgeous repaints and screens !
By the way Jankees , I must say that your repaints for the A2A P-40 are just perfect. (irrelevant comment here but...):ernae:
As Mr Bob, I still havent made the move for this WBS P-51. I fly with the Flight1 mustang for the time....

Thanks for the kind words, guys.
Yes, it is ridiculously expensive, so I'll excuse myself for tempting you.
However, it is much better value for money than the flight1 Mustang if you ask me...
maybe a captain sim like x-mas sale, warbirdsim??

Oh Mannnnnn, THANK Youuuu.. it's about high time someone did an early model mustang :) :) gorgeous aircraft :)... great work Jankees :)

These are fantastic as usual Jan Kees; the 339th FG is sorely neglected for repaints. I'd love to buy the B/C version for FSX (I have the FS9 one) and make use of all your paints but just cannot justify the cost.

Very nice repaint, Jankees.

I recently purchased the Warbirdsim Mustang and while it is expensive I do think it's worth it (just about). Having said that, for the same money you can buy both the early and late variants of the superb Classics Hangar Fw 190 (which I've also done). No, I haven't told my wife yet...

I'm afraid I'm still put off from getting it by the publisher more than the price.

I did, however, look at trying to backdate Fowlmere to WW2 days to replace the modern field, as there's no AI to worry about there (it's a grass strip, nothing else, in FSX - but it wouldn't be compatible with UK2000 if I did make one).

Anyone interested?

That's okay Ian ... I'd love trying to turn the island into WW2's aircraft carrier ...

:)

and I can do a few A2A Mustangs from Fowlmere as well if you like?

Mr. "jankees,"

and I can do a few A2A Mustangs from Fowlmere as well if you like?

Very much so! :salute:
These look great; I can't wait for A2A to Accu-sim this model, too, so I can use it with your repaints. :jump:

:applause:Outstanding work! :applause:

I doubt A2A will be Accu-simming a Warbirdsim model, somehow. :d

I was out for most of last night, but did take a look at what I have for Fowlmere. It's not really enough to do the layout properly, but I'll have a look. I can see where it all was on the ground, but according to the book there were sixty dispersals... Not one of which is still visible or shown on the airfield plan.

I'll keep digging. I want as many of these phenomenal repaints as possible to have a home! :applause::icon_lol:

I think James means the new A2A -D. But I fear we're all going to have to start anew with repaints because I have a feeling Lewis has said somewhere that the old repaint kit won't fit the new model. Still it all adds to the fun......!:jump:

BTW I have a couple of A2A -D's from Fowlmere if anyone's interested.

DaveQ

I believe it was posted somewhere on the A2A forums that would indeed be new mapping on the Accu-Sim D model.

Monday was 'Magic of the Musicals' in Warwick to see my niece perform, last night was shopping, tonight is College... I'll look at this again tomorrow night I hope.

I'm interested.
Which ones? I started on a few as well, we don't want to duplicate our efforts now, do we?
