Just when you think you have everything running some what better...

You get a message from the Hosting company. Short story they need to move us to a new server. I have been working with them to plan a good date for all concerned. Here is what we have come up with as a schedule.

    1. November 4th 17:00 -5UTC shut off the forums and start backup proceedures. During this time there will be no access to the forums or the Resource Section.
    2. November 5th Continue with Backups and download same until complete.
    3. November 6th 7:00 turn over server to hosting company to move system to new server
    4. November 7th - 8th restore backups and upgrade forum software.

If all goes well we should be back online on November 8th.

To keep you updated we will post updates on AVSIM forums.

    Thank you for your support.

SKY shouldn't be allowed to cover sporting events, they always f---up whatever they touch and yes, I thoroughly detest SKY and all the cretins in the head shed!

"The Sky Sports broadcast team for the 2023 Formula 1 season will not include Johnny Herbert or Paul Di Resta.

Three-time grand prix winner Herbert took to Instagram to announce the news, stating he was “Going to miss the team.”
The 58-year-old raced in Formula 1 from 1989 to 2000, partnering Michael Schumacher at Benetton in 1994 and 1995.

Herbert had been part of the Sky F1 team since the company took over F1’s broadcast rights more than a decade ago.
Di Resta will also be absent, the Scot having joined more latterly and dovetailed his on-screen role with his own racing programme.

“Johnny has been an integral part of our Formula 1 team since the very first season on Sky Sports in 2012,” a spokesperson of Sky Sports told Mirror Sport.
“We will miss his humour and big personality and thank him for his energy and enthusiasm over the last 11 years.
“Everyone wishes him all the best for the future.”
Sky has retained a host of its other talent, including David Croft who headlines the on-track commentary.

Its on-air team also includes Natalie Pinkham, Ted Kravitz, Simon Lazenby, 1996 world champion Damon Hill, Martin Brundle, Karun Chandhok, Rachel Brooks, Anthony Davidson, and Naomi Schiff."

The departures should have included the following numpties for starters:Ted Kravitz, Simon Lazenby and David Croft, who can hardly muster sufficient neurones collectively to string a Maccas order............:173go1:
