Ant's Airplanes - CAC Winjeel WIP

Wonderful news! I have some time in a Piston Provost, which sort of looks like some kind of British relative, so really looking forward to this. Wonder if they fly the same too?

Made my Easter.....

Cheers,

Martin

Indeed mate. Wonder if we bunged him a few quid.. he'd get the hacksaw out and turn it into a Provost?:biggrin-new:

"CAC" = Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation - it's an Aussie...;)

Commonly known as the 'Ginwheel'.
IIRC it was originally a three seater, with the instructor in the centre and behind the two 'Sprogs'...... :biggrin-new:
I'm fairly sure that was corrected early on on their service lives, years later several were used for FAC training duties and were painted overall green.
Luckily they were never committed to operational service in Vietnam!

Not my cup of tea either but I thought the same about Ant's T-28's. Once I got the donationware A version I quickly realized this was something special and proceeded to buy all his T-28 models.
I've had an enormous amount of fun with these works of art, well beyond the reasonable asking prices.

I'm getting Anthony's newest model as soon as becomes available. These outstanding aircraft are worth owning for no other reason but to see how 'it should be done.'

Texturing, flight dynamics, failure systems, VC quality (important for me), fps performance... Few aircraft approach the standards and design skills, not to mention bang for the buck,
that Ant's aircraft demonstrate. A true master with uncommon dedication to detail and highest possible quality. Bring on the Winjeel. Yes, I'm a fan.

Tim, you are the Scoop Caulfield of SOH ! :encouragement:

Thanks, mate ! At first i didn't even realize this thread is almost a year old already and all this time Sir Anthony worked on his amazingly detailed Winjeel (which, btw, is an Aboriginal word for young eagle ). I can't begin to understand that he does this all with FSDS... Who needs 3dsMax, éh ?!!

My flying cap is off to this magician, what a superb piece of work ! :applause::applause::applause:

( don't forget to read both pages from the link that the OP provided. (Thanks Sean! ) Lots more about the development ! )

Certainly is my cup of tea, coffee too ! It's an old trainer and has a P&W Wasp Junior. I LOVE old trainers and Wasp Juniors !

Both Anthony's Tiggy and T-28 are two of my most favourites planes in FSX. I'll be very happy to make that a trio !

Amazing work! Would have never considered this aircraft but as I am a sucker for detail this may just end up in my hangar. :applause:

This is fantastic news!! I just LOVE this aircraft. So looking forward to its release.

.....now I just need to see if Anthony would be interested in doing a DHC-4 Caribou.....!? :biggrin-new:

Thank you so much Ant for doing this aircraft.

Cheers,
Tim.

That looks awesome! Looking forward to this release. I like these kind of Aussie classics for Orbx Australia.
