There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.
If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.
Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Good thing you don't have to actually look through the windscreen though.
Anthony-
I do NOT have VR and am just using the MSFS camera system. I set up the view for the pilot looking forward, down, left and right. I believe I have confused the eyepoint arrows, as I have been testing something in P3D recently... so perhaps I was moving the pilot into the passenger seat (behind and above). Sorry for the mix-up. Glad you are in agreement re. the yaw string, and very much looking forward to the Moth!

Hey YoYo, I just updated from the beta to the release demo, and I do NOT see the pilot in VR mode, using an HP Reverb G2 headset.Hmmm, finally installed the demo, but on my view I see pilot, which prevents us from looking ahead (glasses and such as and the body below). Is it possible to remove the pilot body from VC (but leaving it in external view)? Yes, I use VR ... .
...if you are creating you own edits to the cameras.cfg then make sure you include NodesToHide ="XMLVAR_PilotHidden" in the CAMERADEFINITION. That will hide the pilot in that camera.

Anthony mentioned this above, in case you're not using the default VR pilot view:
YoYo-You will see earlier in the thread I had the same issue. I realize the position I was using was actually the passengers view. Once I dropped it down a little bit everything worked OK.HTH- C
