Can't remember how many times I've tried and failed to get this working.
In the latest install I can't get the thing to show numbers in the display.
Any help please?
 
I'll try to be of help by explaining how I use it. The autopilot should look as it does in your picture when on standby - that is, the yellow light over the "STAB" switch should be on. In my JCG412, which is the only helicopter I have this in, I click my standard autopilot heading hold button, the same one I would use in a fixed wing aircraft, which will lock the helicopter on the course it's presently pointing while on the ground. Otherwise, as soon as you select heading hold in the air you'll be off in whatever direction the AP was set for the last time you used it.

Take off and start climbing out. As soon as your altitude and airspeed exceed the minimum indicated in the autopilot documents, click the "STAB" button. This will stabilize the helicopter while you select the rest of your options.

Click the "IAS" button. The present air speed will be displayed on the autopilot panel, and your helicopter will maintain its airspeed. Now raise your collective until your helicopter is climbing at your desired rate. As you near your cruise altitude, reduce collective to reduce climb rate, and then click on the "ALT" button when you're there. You can only have heading heading and altitude or heading and IAS selected at one time, so with altitude locked in, airspeed is now controlled with the collective.

The "HDG" button can be selected any time the "STAB" light is off and the autopilot is active. It's been a bit since I've used this AP, but as I recall, heading can be incremented or decremented by placing your mouse pointer to the right or left of the "HDG" button and either using the scroll wheel on your mouse or multiple clicks to adjust it as desired.

Thanks guys, I've worked through the readme but cannot get the display to show, other than a brief flash when I click on e.g. the airspeed button.
There may be a corrupted gauge file somewhere.
I'll toss this for now as it has yet again irritated me beyond where it can actually give me any satisfaction...:banghead:
