Well..i have a simple question..how did the gunsight worked??, is it a periscope? how did the aiming bug got thru the frontal frame?
I got the Dash-one, but reference to the gunsight is vague.

Prowler, the guy I ground crew for with the Mig-21 was a 102 pilot back in the 60s and early 70s.. I can ask him but I won't see him again until May 24th. Will that too late for you?

They had a glass optical sight for firing the rockets that flipped down when in use.
In the photo kilo delta linked is has been flipped up out of the way.
You can see the edge of the glass.
