Any Lockheed Sirius fans?

Hey Pointy

Thanks, I like that word "Gooder" . Reminds me of what my little girl use to say to me after being bad..."I'll be gooder daddy":icon_lol: Funny how little things like that stick with you.

Yeah Chris, my little girl used to say that too, while I was paying $150 a month to send her to a private school...:costumes:

Lockheed Sirius and Sirius Float getting closer to release:running:
Those :censored: canopies are head banging:banghead: fun:costumes:

Chris

Looking great Chris, I've got to start flight-planning...:ernae:

Oh! this looks great :ernae: Would love to see a screenshot of it in the end.
I´ll make you a nice artsy picture for ya :applause:

Hey Guys and Gals

The Sirius is almost there, should be up later today as soon as I iron out a few details. Heres hows shes looking so far.:mixedsmi:

I was testing it when this DC3 came chugging by, so I figured I'd tag along for a while...:jump:

Hi Tarpsbird

I was going to make it part of the package but I am having trouble with the canopy. Still working on it thought:banghead:

Get that canopy working right, add the retract gear and we'd have an Altair too. Never thought I'd see these beautiful Lockheeds in FS, I'll be ordering this one and the Air Express over the holiday.

I imagine you have a copy of "Revolution in the Sky" by Richard S. Allen. Probably the definitive book on the wooden Lockheeds, has a full production list on every one build plus a lot of good detail photos and inspiration for repainters (alas all in b&w however).

IIRC our own Paul 'PutPut' Clawson made an Altair some time back. Unfortunately no VC however (a slightly repainted version serves as my avatar).
I also have Revolution in the Sky. Best aviation book ever. Still think Ruth Nichols' 'Akita' with the sunken wing would be cool to have. :ernae:
