    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Any News on the Plane Design Spitfire VIII?

Just to slip a quick question into the gap between exciting releases, does anyone know if the Plane Design Spitfire VIII is still under development? I've been looking forward to this even more than the WOP3 Mustang - I keep FS9 installed just so I can carry on flying their terrific Mk XVI.

Ed was kind enough to send me the beta a while back, but I haven't been in touch with him for ages, so I don't know what the current situation is regarding further development. (He's is still about, as he pops into some of the aviation forums now & again).

I've said it before, but it would be a shame if the MKVIII, along with the MKIX's & PRXI (which I'm also lucky to have betas of) that were under development, never see the light of day.

So I too hope that Ed gets the inspiration to carry the great work he's done on Supermarines finest, even if it is for FS9 only!
