Any way of fixing crash cubes in FS9 scenery?

I would like to ask if there is any way of remedying ''crash cubes'' in certain sceneries in FSX. A recent example is Bill Womack's Cushman Meadows:

But the scenery I'd love to fix is Saint Hubert, Québec (CYHU):

It's an FS2004 scenery by Jean Morissette. I have been unable to contact him at the email address in his readme file.

If I fly anywhere near the runway or the nearby shopping centre, I get a building crash.

Is there any way of decompiling/recompiling the .bgl files to make them compatible with FSX?

I know, I can always turn off crash detection in FSX settings, but is there a better way?

For Cushman I presume you have installed the update that removes a lot of crash boxes?

Yes, Roger, I fixed my KCMW's crash boxes with Bill Womack's patch.

Now, is there any way to fix CYHU?

Arno's Model Converter X over at FS Developers has the capability to show the crash boxes and another of his utilities, RADItor has the capability (given the .MDL file) to reduce them to almost nothing.

Thanks, Jim. But when I try to import a .BGL scenery file from CYHU, Model Converter just says it`s not a supported file type.

Any other ideas, anyone?
