No the aircraft not the state :icon_lol:
Im wondering if anybody has access to a G model Texan?
I need some real word reference measurements to scale up photos I have.
If I can get the measurements for one of the trim wheels and the width of the shelf it sits on/in,the width of the front canopy at its lowest point and finally the dia of the roll cage tubing. All the photos I have have an angle to them making it hard to get the scale close
Thanks

we've got a T-6 here in the airpark museum. It's from the WASPS, or at least it's painted that way. How do I know if it's a G? I'd be happy to get you whatever you need if you can tell me what to look for.

I have a folder full of links to T-6 info. Here's one of the better ones.

Some visual clues to look for to tell if you're looking at a G model.

The canopy - will have large panes on the side

antenna - usually located behind the rear canopy. Earlier models will have a big mast on the engine cowl.

instrument panel - back panel same as front panel. Older models the back panel is shaped like a triangle. No cut-out on upper right corner of panel, front or back.

spinner on prop

I dont think the items I need measurements of will differ very much from ver to ver so what ever you can get close to will be gratefully appreciated
No Hurry ;)

X_eidos2 thanks I already had most of that saved.Another designer gave me the HU on how to use digital calipers and photos/jpg's ect to get parts close to scale, just need a base line.A set of part blueprints would be the ultimate but alas they are as rare as hens teeth :)
