SOH-CM-2024
A few years ago I downloaded Avro Manchester converted by Jed from an original Ted Cook model.
I did everything as per instructions , I took a panel from an old Alpha Wellington (now freeware ), I made a Sound File using Napier Sabre Sound (apparently the only engine that sounds remotely like a Rolls-Royce Vulture) ---- I did everything as per instructions about 110 times and still counting and I still can't get that damned Avro to show up .

Then recently Bressy uploaded a Howard-DGA and guess what ? I'm having the same issues !!!!

Have I been overdosing on stupid tablets or am I just a complete idiot etc . etc. ?

Any help in any shape or form would be really appreciated .

Thanks to all

I can remember a few years ago I had issues with an FSDS2 model where I had a look on for another model builder, after I converted the aircraft to CFS2, the aircraft didn't show up. The reason: too much polygons I think, after reducing some poly heavy parts, the aircraft showed up.
I think FS2004 can handle this poly heavy parts but CFS2 as an older game engine can't handle it.
May I be wrong, but this is the experience I made

Hi 1150,
Folders:-model, panel, sound, texture along with an airfile and ac cfg file.

Now, model, panel, sound and texture should be simple. The problem usually comes with the airfile and cfg, and correct naming/spelling in/of them.
Make sure the airfile (best to use a CFS2 Lanc I airfile) and the aircraft in the cfg file is named correctly.

It's just not obvious to you at the moment, but you'll find it!! ;)
