Anybody know what's going on at MAIW?

I used to be able to download files with no issues.
Now, it kinda says I'm not logged in (and its been years since I had to).
There's no way I'll be able to remember my password, let alone my user name and requesting an email for log in goes no where.

Any ideas?

@Sbob per their forums, bots and site crawlers aplenty, of late, and why there have been outages/downtime - to deal with / filter out the heavy bot traffic and still enable regular users to download - accordingly registration and login is now mandatory to download

hard to imagine the MAIW server load when the bots start downloading concurrently, without the previous registration / login requirements, but I believe in time akin to SOH, download limits will have to be introduced even with the requisite registration/login req., as said bots will often seek to download the entire MAIW library all at once - absolute chaos, honestly

so anyhow register with an email addy, and then download per need and requirement

after registration, you'd also have to wait for the activation email, activate the account registration from the provided link in the activation email, and only then I believe you are able to log in; check your SPAM for the activation email, if it is not already in your inbox

Just FYI, still waiting and I routinely check my Spam folder.
