Anybody watch that ridiculous show "Hardcore Pawn"?

The Harrisons of Pawn Star are like comfort food,...predictable and consistent. From the 'Ol' Man' to dufus Chumley. Plus,...one can learn a lot from the experts Rick brings in to do a tighter evaluation on the piece to be sold or pawned From the item's history to if it's legit or not.
Hard Core Pawn with the Gold family is different. Much different. They're dealing with desperate individuals who need so many bucks to get by for the month. And as we well know,...it can get nasty. Which of course,....makes me appreciate the situation the Harrisons have going in their Las Vegas shop. I settle for 'Pawn Stars.'

It's almost as if Detroit can't catch a break. "Detroit 1-8-7" was one of the few TV series I watched. It was a good show with some decent acting; I guess it wasn't glittering and sexy enough for audiences.

While I enjoyed the drama/acting, it was tough seeing the advanced state of urban decay. Having been stationed on a Buoy Tender/Icebreaker stationed at the foot of Mt. Elliott street many moons ago, I was familiar with the areas where most of the filming took place.

Four months ago, while visiting family near Toledo, we spent a day driving around Detroit. It's very depressing to see how far it's fallen. I don't believe I could watch Hard Core Pawn.
