• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

He has been gone about his limit now from past experiences..

Has anyone seen / heard anything from him at all????

Well, that's a bit encouraging anyway. . .he at least seems to have computer access in some form. If he's reaching out that way, it's possible he just feels he needs an extended break from everything to get himself settled again.

I wish him the best, no matter what he decides.:salute:
 
Chances are ... if he's lost his job with no viable income, as I got the feeling from a couple of his last posts, I'm betting he's cut a lot of things off in order to save maximum cash.

One of those things is most likely his internet connection as well. Therefore any attempt at contacting via email/facebook/yadda yadda yadda ... will probably be futile.

I would try to locate him physically via snail mail or telephone (If he hasn't shut that off yet either.)

I mailed him a real letter a while back. No response. I hope his life gets better and he returns to SOH. I like the guy.
 
I even donated some cash to his paypal account so with no internet access I hope he received it. anyway never heard anything back..

I hope he's well, I know what it is to be without a job..
 
We have a member that lives close..We are thinking of him looking him up..There are only like 3 of his names in the phone book..

OBIO is near him, and we are discussing if it may be uncormfitable to him if we track him down..he may be embrassed...

I would say go find him-He knows that he has a rather large family that is concerned about him....

Doesn't he do this several times a year? Every time, everyone assumes he died or something. I'm sure he's alright and working on his financial situation.

Yes he does this on ocassion...but hes borderline on his time limit now..

Its not always fininacial for Bob...hes a Vet too..... I say no more

There are times when maybe its best to give someone their space, and then times when they need you more than ever.

Something in me says he need his friends more than ever..its just a gut feeling.....

You could not ask for a better friend than Bob....He is much more than a great guy ....
 
Well, I been reading this thread & was not gonna say anything, for I did not know what else to say that hasn't been already.
I agree with Harleyman too about the gut feelin.
I have been and am still at times where Bananabob is.
For similar reasons.
I sure wish like most of you said already..that we could get a note or something to him, to let him know we care.
