Anyone feel like flying a IL-2 or a P-38?

Moonbutter2 has quietly released a ten-mission campaign for the IL-2 Sturmovik. This looks like a lot of fun. Despite many of our best efforts, the IL-2 Sturmovik doesn't get a whole lot of play (at least from a player-flying standpoint) on the Eastern Front. It will be nice to fly it exclusively for a change.

BTW...now that we've got a really nice Messerschmitt Me-262, I find myself strapping into my 'Schwalbe' to take on the indianer more and more often. Your Me-262 campaign is truly a 'blast,' (Yes, I meant the pun) and I really enjoy flying it.

I hope this campaign is as much fun. Well done, comrade! :russia:
 
Great to see this. Many thanks Moonbutter2. This looks very tempting and slots right in with my recent reading on the VVS during the battle of Kursk. I'm afraid real life has made it difficult for me to do any simming over the past few months, but this certainly looks like a shot in the arm. Hopefully, with all that armour, I won't get shot anywhere else!

Thanks! I don't get a lot of time to put into this hobby. I hope you guys enjoy the Campaign. I had a lot of fun with it and it was a challege to keep the plane out of the Dirt while taking those german tanks! Rami, you have pre-approval to do anything you want with it!
 
I'm Keen to give it a try. The Eastern Front has always appealed to me. At the moment I'm flying the AVG and CATF campaigns (Great Stuff)

:jump:I´ve not much time to fly but will surely keep it in my archive and give it a try in my EFTO install as soon as I can.

It won´t be easy to keep it above 0 level dodging all the german flak and fighters!

I fixed the campaign file for you. To answer your question...take a look at the "fixed" campaign file versus your original and note the changes.

Also, Moonbutter2 has released a nice-looking P-38 campaign! I guess I've have to go back to the jungle. Where did I put my mosquito net and malaria kit?
