Its 12 days an counting since my order went thru.... starting to get nervous. :jump:

Anyone in this part of the world got their copy yet? Anyone....?

Well to UK from US they say 10 business days so I'd hang on a little.
I had special priority one sent when testing and it took exactly 10 business days (14 days) and that was meant to be quick lol.

Hi Pageturner, I'm in the same boat as you. Ordered on the 14th and waiting. I've e-mailed Avangate just as a precautionary measure - I'll let you know the result.

I'm sure Pol is right and we should just hang on but the postage being $9 USD I'd expect a quicker delivery. In fact, in terms of the postage cost I see ithis as a rip off. That's about 15 aussie dollars which means it should be priority express post. Alright alright..rant over, I'm taking my pills.

Actually us Yanks feel really bad about the $9, while we know the stamp was $1.96. However it's not really that far out of line, I buy alot of garbage online, as it greatly increases your selection. Most have a minimum shipping and handleing of $7.95 or $8.95. Yes it's a lot, but it's a lot cheaper than driving 1500 miles.

A stinking DVD from Amazon.com costs $4.95 to go across the USA

$9 to OZ, doesn't sound too excessive

Yep a one size for all worldwide shipping. In US no TAX so still works out cheaper for some.

It usually costs around a buck and a half to send a Phase 2 DVD anywhere in the US. That's the DVD, a jewel case, bubble wrap and the envelope. If someone had to pay me to pack it, it would cost more. Shipping and handling. I'm sure there's a helluva lot of handling between here and OZ. By the way, how's Dorothy?

I don't really have a problem with the price, it's the time versus price. Avangate say 21 days for the rest of the world. This just seems a bit excessive as I'm just down the road from california (well except for the pacific) . Can anyone tell me why so long? Is it US Customs? You guys have a known shipper regime. for $9 Avangate could use DHL or the like. Or it would be nice to have that choice. I'm not having a go at anyone :ernae:- I just want to understand why and provide constructive critisism. It probably is "handling".

A dingo ate Dorothy and then shagged Toto.

Gee, I ordered on the 19th so I've got ages to wait then. I'll stop sitting at the letterbox every day until the posty arrives.

I've seen Fedex packages take 3 months to get here (NZ) from Europe. Most of it turned out to have been spent in a Fedex depot somewhere in the US.

NZ Post are also hopeless at times, so I never expect anything to arrive quickly. Can be a nice surprise when something you'd completely forgotten about actually shows up :)

Kinda weird tho. I've had books arrive from the UK in less than a week.
Dont really understand why a DVD should take so long to get here (NZ) from the US.

I'll start really griping when we hit 20+ days...:faint:
Cant wait... cant wait... cant wait.... :jump:

Anytime the U.S. Postal System is involved, throw logic out the window, unfortunately.

I live in southern Florida, and I can send a letter to the state of Washington in 3 days. However it takes 10 days to reach Toronto Canada.

I'm just saying, Don't Hold Your Breath, when it gets there, it gets there :kilroy:

I'd ordered on the first day from here in the South Island of New Zealand and P3 arrived last Friday the 23rd.
Customs would be my quess for delays in this part of the world. Can you imagine the process involved in trying to check every single package that comes into a country. YEAH just once, an advantage for living in a small place :wiggle:

Ahhh thats good to hear.
They do know where we live....:ernae:

Some come sooner lol. It doesn't mean all will be 21 days of course.

Ordered on the release date 19th? mon, waiting for me when I arrived home from work 27th tues.
Approximately one working week I think..
Bloody amazing when it takes on average two weeks to get something from the East coast of Oz..yet overseas stuff about a week..

In 1928

And just think, Smithy flew across the Pacific in 9 days.Snail mail has come a long way

I've made it to Day 15 now and still waiting. With any luck I'll make the magical 21 days. Wrote to Avangate just to confirm if everything was ok and got a fast generic response without answering my question. swell.

Man it's hot here.
