Apple Computer WWDC Conference on Monday

It will be interesting... I wonder if new laptop innovations will come out.

I'm ready for it. My iphone 3G is getting long in the tooth and beat up. I hope I do'nt buy a 3gS right before the new hot stuff comes out, that would be lame.

Some features will only work on the 3Gs, and most will work on 3G iPhones as well.

Yes. At first, I thought the update for iPad would be later, like in August or September, but from what Steve said yesterday, I believe it will be in the June 24th update.

When you get a chance, download the App 'Weather HD' for iPad. Its brilliant!



The new OS is now called iOS instead of iPhone OS. Mainly since the OS architecture now spans iPod Touch, iPhone, and iPad. Kind of keeps it simple.

I was watching the WWDC main keynote last night. I had to stop it after 1 1/2 hours. What a heck of a lot of improvements. The screen has a new resolution on it that is 320 pixels per square inch. The human eye can only see 300 pixels. The screen width is 920 pixels resolution. Thats a heck of alot as alot of basic small screens are 1024 by 768. 920 is just under 1024, and thats in a small device. That is some awesome rez....
