If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Are there any Dyke jd-2's out there

There were at least three done during the FS98 to 2000 era. One I remember flew pretty well.

I may have them tucked away if you can't find them at the main sites.

This seems familiar, but I can't place where from...

It does look like the wing of a Saab Draken slapped onto a piston engined body. It also slightly resembles a Veri-Viggen, which was one of Burt Rutan's predecessors to the Long-EZ.

True about the resemblance. The bird goes back to the 1960's so it's a contemporary. It first showed up at the old Rockford Ill. EAA get together. There have been a few copies built. It has a tubular structure onder fiberglass wing skins. Had seats for either three or four I beleive. Pilot is up front on center (like a Piper Cruiser) and passengers across the back seat. Full delta wing.
