Area 51 Sim UH-1Y "Venom" Released

I may have to give this one a try. I was considering buying their U-2S but I wanted to see what other people had to say about it before I bought it as I've never purchased anything from them before.
 
I'll hold off one this one until I see a good PSD paint kit. I bought the AH-1Z and really don't care for the heavy [panel lines they used, so.....lets hope for a couple good paint kits.
 
i have the AH-1S and AH1Z i like them Both I am Looking forward to try the UH-1Y:salute:

It's a great plane, very FPS friendly. My only complaint is a difficult autopilot. I like the autopilot when I can SEE what altitude I have it set to. And the maximum vertical speed [up] is +100 FPM.
 
I just went to theyre site and bought it. Wasnt paying much attention to the link they sent me in my email so I just clicked on the thread and started the download.

Well to my surprise they sent me the Viper instead. The link says UH-1Y Venom, but the link is for the Viper.

I sent them a quick email telling them that I bought the UH-1Z Viper back in Sept and I would like to get the one I paid for. Who needs to buy the same aircraft twice...

Anyways that was afew hours ago and I still havent heard anything back from them so theyre probably sleeping. I also informed them that theyre link is wrong and hopefully noone else will buy it.

Once you click on buy it you'll notice at the top that it says UH-1Z Viper instead of the UH-1Y Venom. I didnt notice it and of course and bought it and ended up with the wrong download.

Hopefully theyre going to square me away. So anyone insterested in buying the Huey better wait till that link is fixed. I just checked theyre link and its still not right. It says click here to purchass the Venom, but after you click the link look at the top of the next page. It says Viper...

So just alittle warning till they sought it out...

The "Visa/Mastercard Buy Now" button on the Venom page has the correct link to buy the Venom, but the link above that button in text, "Price $21.95$ Click To Buy" does go straight to the Viper.
Shows the $19.95 price for the Viper too.
Hope they get that straightened out for you.

EDIT: I sent an email to Area 51 about broken link that as well.
 
Hey thanks.. I noticed the same thing when I went back there. If you click on the $21.95 link it brings you to the Viper...

The credit card icon works fine. Next time Ill make sure I slow down before I purchass, boy that pisses me off when I do things like that...

I hope they get me squared away...

They do live overseas in Europe, as I understand, so they may still be asleep.
 
well they fixed theyre link, but I still havent heard any reply to my email yet. I resent the original email just in case they didnt get the 1st one...

well its been another day and still nothing from theyre website. Not even an email letting me know they recieved my email.

I sent 4 emails to them and its funny that last night they had theyre link fixed, but no response to my email.

So Ill sit back another day and then send another note and see if I get a response..
