Argentinian Panther

JensOle

SOH-CM-2023
The Vertigo Studios Grumman F9F5 Panther got under my radar and I did only recently “discovered”it. It has been great fun flying it and a great and stable carrieraircraft for sure.

The Panther had only one foreign user, the Argentinian Navy which flew it from 1958 to 69. The Argentinian used the F9F2 model, but the F9F5 is a close stand in.

Excellent!

Will you be uploading it when you are done? Vertigo's F9F is spectacular!

Regards,

Kent

Sweet! Great job there. I still have a Canadian one waiting in the hangar, but due to lack of funding (besides FSX i also have other hobby's) and a crashed vidcard it will not be finished soon. The Argentina version can now be scrapped from the list. :medals::salute:

Edit: JensOle, if not done already, take a close look at the decal layer. You will find that most of the right (starboard) decals like the "no step" ones are mirrored in the original paintkit, and included paints. The ones that go on top of the wing-tanks cannot be correctly altered, most of the rest however, can.

Maravilloso, Jens!

Damian Radice (RIP) did a nice Argentinian set for the AH version years ago, if memory serves. Nice to see another operator covered.

Nice to know that Canuck one is in the list somewhere, Warrant!

Nice model - pity there was no patch (that I know of) to cover the few cockpit oops - but nevertheless, it's a preferred plane of mine.

cheers,

dl

I can't seem to be able to find this excellent repaint. Was it ever uploaded and if so, where?

Many thanks

Andy

Tried to find it myself after buying the Panther a few months back, never did find it. Also tried to PM Jens but never got a response . Hopefully it'll turn up somewhere.
