Argo 02, not a sequel

Has anyone had tried out the Argo 02? It's not a sequel to a movie but a Russian kit plane. Found it at Avsim.su. It is nicely modeled and has acrobatic capabilities. Low and slow meets acrobatic flight, +3 g's.ScreenHunter_161 Nov. 18 18.46.jpg

I've somewhat translated the ref. file if anyone wants it, as the original is in odd Cyrillic/Microsoft type.

Nice little airplane. Definitely some detail in the modeling, excellent VC. You "feel" faster than you're actually flying, FWIW. Elevator trim seems ineffective. It does have a trim tab on the left elevator but it's riveted on so it's set at a preset angle. I tried moving trim up and down and it didn't seem to respond, either that or it was so slow I didn't notice it. The eyepoint is different from what I'm used to (a bit too high, at least to me it is). I flew it in and out of the airport I used in the Tutorials I just finished and it really performed quite nicely. It's a keeper in my LSA Hangar.

I would like a copy of the ref. file dandog. Thanks for the HU on this one.

Downloaded this morning after reading your post, dandog. Neat little plane. Also downloaded the update. Nice. Went crazy and changed the instrument textures to show English lettering and moved the ASI numbers around to closely reflect MPH rather than Kmh. I'm having fun with it, at least for a few hours and to me that's what FSX is all about.
