• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

  • Server side Maintenance is done. We still have an update to the forum software to run but that one will have to wait for a better time.

Anyone have a way to contact the Admins at Flightsim.to?

This constant reformatting/redesign of the home page every other week is FRUSTRATING AS HELL!!!

Now the buttons for latest sitewide updates and latest uploads have gone poof! Again!

I have no idea why they have to change the layout constantly. Simviation has had the same basic Layout for 10 years at least. Avsim has been virtually the same since I started visiting the site! 20 years plus!

Their programers must get bonus' for how many times a month they can totally F--- up the home page...

If you want to check out the latest addons, click on "addons" the menu at the top of the page, you'll get a dropdown list where you can click on "new releases".

You can also paste this in the address bar of your browser: https://flightsim.to/new/

I use the superb Windsailor, which combined with Addons Linker makes download management SUPER simple from Flightsim.to. (For instance, if I install a Washington state scenery to FS24_Addons/SCN/USA/WA, when I download the update it remembers where it's installed and deletes the original and replaces it with the new version, in the right place.

It also has shortcut icons for updates, new files, updated files, etc. But if you prefer to do things the old-fashioned way of downloading zip files to local storage and extracting them manually to your Community/Add-ons folders, here are some links to bookmark that will make it easy to go straight to where you want to and never even SEE the changes in the flightsim.to home page:

Newly updated files (updates to files you've already downloaded):

New releases since you last visited:

New updates since you last visited:

These three bookmarks are 99.5% of my fs.to browsing. No visit the front page and deal with the ever-changing UI. (That said, though, highly suggest giving Windsailor a try.)

(Brian/Mods, maybe update this topic title to something like "Arrrrrrgh, fs.to constant changes!" so that folks who might be interested in the discussion check it out? :) )
