arrvoo - Savoia Marchetti SM.79 - Golden Age

Just for info i got a Duenna error on take off. I got the "Duenna successfully started" message in FSX, but on checking Duenna was red with "can't connect to server" (or something similar). On "ok" ing this Duenna went green and seemed to be normal but was not being tracked on the website. I'm guessing this is the same problem that Rob's been getting and is a server or connection to server issue to do with the Duenna.
Anyway i have aborted the flight just in case and am resetting

Done exactly the same again on second attempt. The Duenna is giving a message saying "Can't start flight, serversays:"
On resetting the flight it won't let me abort saying "Can't stop flight, serversays:" And then Duenna just locks up altogether.

3rd attempt seems to be finally working, although Duenna did go red for a few seconds before giving the all green

Down and safe at WADA (WRRA).
Uninteresting flight mostly over the ocean. No drama's though and relatively light headwind. Making decent progress.

Another safely completed flight. And nice to be back in "civilisation" again. Flight was a bit monotonous over the ocean but with light winds straight on the nose navigation was nice and easy.

Down at Cloncurry. Battled headwinds the whole way, seems like the winds are extremely unfavourable compared to a couple of weeks ago.

With a quick splash of fuel the race team has decided to take the 2 hour trip down to Charleville. It will be getting dark by the time we get there but the weather is favourable and it's worth the risk

Edit Seems i forgot to press the submit button on my post before i took off sorry. Gonna carry on unless anyone thinks i need to refly

Thanks Mike.

Headwinds have really plagued me for the second half of this event, another leg with wind on the nose all the way. Nice comforatable flight though. time for a bit of rest before the final push for Essendon.

Good Luck, although I think you were a bit too precise in your estimate. I think we only guess to the minute. I'm with you though in that I estimated my flight would be right in the middle of the minute at 30 seconds and I decided to aim for faster rather than slower.

Down and safe at Essendon. Three and a half minutes inside predicted time which is the side i'd rather be on .
Another smooth flight (although my co-pilot directed me towards the wrong runway at first).
Now time for a well earned beer before the Citation X flight back to blighty for the MA flight back again
