AS C-5 Galaxy in FSX

falcon409

SOH-CM-2025
I resurrected the Alphasim C-5 to fly some long-range hops on "figs" server. I never flew it in FSX until now and at first glance everything looked pretty good. However by the time I had taxied to the EOR, the VC gauges (some, but not all) had taken on a "ghosting" appearance. Basically it looked like a second layer of the main engine gauges from the center area of the VC were overlayed and somewhat distorted. Nothing I did had any effect on it.

Has anyone else tried this airplane in FSX and had a similar problem?:salute:

Can't say I have. It is possible that both the VC and 2D panel are displaying at the same time?
:ernae:

hmmm. ok, thanks Frank. . .still testing a bit as earlier threads on this showed no such problems.:salute:

Seems to be intermittent. A few flights with no problems and then this (centered on the engine gauges mostly as either side is clear) This happened after I adjusted the nose-up trim for take off. As soon as I hit the trim it went goofy in that area, lol:
