It's a work-in-progress...and a mini-break from my wrangling of the F4 Panels.
Started life as various photos from http://www.philsaeronauticalstuff.com/f3h/f3h.html
...but there's not a lot of info I can find...so some of it is more guesswork than right...eg the ITT left of the radar. Had to 'do' some of my own gauges to get it more 'right', but that one has me lost...it's an odd-looking thing.
Gotta do the alphas for canopy,gauges and hud/sight...and work out [hopefully] which toggle does what...and likewise with the warning lights...;)

No sooner had I posted that I found what the gauges are....
That one's a 'thrust and nozzle position indicator' ...and the VSI on the topright should be a UHF RC Indicator.

Still...at least I know what they are...now to find what they look like...;)
 
Whoo hoo !!! Look what we have here. The F3H has such good landing visibility and handling. IRL despite its notorious issues, the pilots did appreciate these attributes. If only the "one engined phantom" had a J-79 at the time.
 
Can't find a decent photo still of that combination gauge, but I made one that sort of functions...just not sure of the calibration.

Meanwhile... abunch of toggles that toggle...and lights that light...

Gotta swap out the TAS for a TACAN..[if I can dig up something suitable]... but am pretty happy with the rest of it...;)

Why not add the RFN TACAN that directs you to moving carriers? I have it installed in the 2D dashboard and VC in my Demons.
 
just in case you don't have these. Unfortunately, these don't upload at a large size. If you need, I can look for a few more. I can always email larger versions to you.

mal998....yes, I have those...at a reasonable 'size' [I can read them] and that's the graphic I used to create my nozzle-thrust gauge....but the res is too blurry to work out what the units/spacing/text is.

expat....I'm going to add a DME to the TAS spot...again as an analogue [non digital].

...and the second VSI top-right appears correct via one of the photos...tho the drawings suggest it's a UHF channel indicator...so I'll need to 'flip a coin' on that one....;)

Once I've got it all done I'll see to what can be altered on the VC...

I just need details of that twin gauge....you'd think some other aircraft from the era might have had the same....;)

Done the DME...added a flightstick...still scratching head re double gauge...;)

The nozzle/thrust gauge is 'fudged'...at a glance it'll look the part....and it 'works'...but I still have no detail to work to other than as it is. Lost a couple of days trying to solve it/find a photo.

Now to do the VC....;)

I had some 'fun' with the VC...but in the end the Radar panel was too much of a pain to work around...so I worked with what was given...just changed a little via the redone gauges.

The 2D panel is from a photo..so the radar location/proportion is 'accurate'...but the VC windows didn't allow realignment as I'd hoped.

Here's the 2D...yes, the shape is asymmetrical...

Fnally got it together...and it's been uploaded here...;)

Biggest difference is with the 2D...especially when on a widescreen monitor [hence why I do them]...

Included is a functioning three-stage burner/exhaust/AB effect, smoke and even some auto-flaps [up]...

Now I'm off back to the F4s....then to have a squiz at some 101s....;)

Am finally 'finished' with the Phantoms....it took 6 panels to do them all....and now I'm gonna visit the "Voodoo Chile"..... play with some 101s ...;)
