Sorry, Mr. P, but that don't cut it as a Trans-Am. Too much lipstick on that pig!

I have semi-fond memories of when I convinced a salesman to let me test drive a "real" Trans-Am. Then I went and stalled the thing... But hey, I was only 17!
 
The new Camaros *appear* to be sellinq quite well regardless of what y'all "old timers" think of them.....:icon_lol:

So from a marketing point of view, I'd say it's a sound concept...:mixedsmi:
 
my mom 72 years old....saw a white on tan 2011 camaro convertable the other day..almsot made dad wreck the car...they drive a 1989 buick park avenue now,but she saw the camaro and shreaked,,grabbed the steering wheel..we were on SR49 in auburn...not a good place to do that..and made my dad go look at the car.....he was grumpy and "NO NO NO NO NO NO!"but they been talkin about it the past two weeks,,,,we all sat in it and we all fit....( thats a big deal!!!!!)it was an automatic...another plus...all white paint and no trim at all...dealer said the guy who oredered it ordered it that way,,,then his house ect got foreclosed on and poof hes close to destitute and it has a all tan leather/vinal interier

welll anyway....theyre birthdays are aug 6 -dad will be 77,,mom will be 73 on aug 8
and they will be celibrating theyre 54th wedding annversary on aug 29th
 
My best buddy since 8th grade is getting a 2012 Camaro ragtop, already has his order in, dark metallic grey with a black top supposed to arrive next month at Smith-Stokes in Reidsville, NC. Trading in his SAAB convertible for it. Photos when it arrives.

Since GM quit making Pontiac, at least over here in the US. I'll just drive a new Camaro or Dodge Charger. :salute:
