a small note: in the test package you got is a texture replacement for german pilot Wendler aswell (thanks gecko for that!)
all CFS3 Komet pilots should be suited in such gray cloth... it was life important

Thanks Owen & Thanks Borek!, Oh btw i set that Bloom ON, it's only affect more to the clouds shine and a bit blurry to plane texture i guess, but i set low saturation and temperature so that's why a bit different with my other screenshots...bloom just give a bright sensation and blur but not sharpen texture..both with or without bloom still great, i like them in both set!! i set this with my new enb setting

ahh yess...i forgot to tell Wendler about this plane!..haha

well, latest friday night I did all the main Komet cpit mesh 3d stuff work (including mapping and texture paint). it doesnt mean the airplane add-on is done, of course, but now I can start some kind of a mesh and texture paint bugfixing finally.

Good job Borek, more power to your polys! Andy, I'm glad to see the museum is well lit; taking reference photos is so much easier in these conditions. You should have seen how dismal the RAF museum's BoB hall used to be, but it's thankfully hugely improved now. Good photos and good reference material!

The lighting wasn't actually that good, but with the Olympus 5 axis image stabilization I was able to boost the ISO and slow down the shutter speed, with a wide open aperture to make it look bright. ISO 1600, 1/40 sec, F/1.7

the MajorMagees museum photos will be a GREAT addition to my small Komet sources collection! I have only few such similar quality sources.

well, back to CFS3 work... I love skin making, so bottom is my latest night work

I still am not decied how much skins to put into the downloadable Komet pack yet, probaly max 8 skins as standalone airplane "slots".
but each such skin will increase the add-on pack file size... each skin is 1.4 MB (two body textures), each airplane model is 1.3 MB (external model + cpit)...

well, here are new images of the "white 13" final skin.
I have to say painting the cammo patterns is unbelievably easy with the app, where I can check it quickly and refresh the skin paint changes immediately, without any app restart

I've been waiting for a good me-163 since CFS3 came out.Seen a lot and have all the luft46 aircraft to be had,but none compare to this one.This one actually flew and fought,and had great flight characteristics up to close of the speed of sound.The aircraft actually, during testing ,broke the sound barrier.The plane lost control and flipped, cutting off the motor,the me-163, then restored control and glided back to base. Reminds me of the space shuttle , rocket powered,glider,tailless design. wow kilroy says.......
