Assetto Corsa RC1 out!

Well, it looks cool but it just isn't a lot of fun to drive.. Terrible brakes and a lot of understeer.

I've fallen a bit behind recently so only picked up the latest updates last night but I like what I'm seeing so far. Is it me or have the game physics changed with this patch? It seems much smoother and easier to drive now and my laps times have gone up accordingly. I also experimented with a different set of pedals too, the pedals to my Logitech Force GT always made my left foot hurt after a couple of hours (I left foot brake) so today I tried using my Saitek rudder pedals with the toe brakes set to the sim accelerator/brake functions and I must say that after some initial 'oddness' I now prefer them. I've just run the sim for a couple of hours and no foot ache! :applause:

I even managed to make progress on my 'career' and I'm just about to start on the Intermediate 1 phase as a McLaren driver. :wiggle:

Finally bought the Dream Pack DLC, and i'm quite happy with it! Decided to remove the shifter from my set-up, just use the paddles behind the wheel. The frustration of using the manual shifter was too much, I just wanted to have fun with AC.
