Assetto Corsa Redux

I've gone right off GeroDa74's newer stuff Ferry, I suppose the Supra is OK as it's 'Free' but the Aston Martin and the Zonda are pretty naf.
The 'Patreon' system would be good if the quality was there but he seems to have lost the plot somewhat, the older 'Classics' are still good but I could care less about the contempory stuff.
Probably stop the subscription as I don't mind supporting a developer but do I expect a decent release.
I'll stop whinging now .......:biggrin-new:

I really like VELO'S 1956-57 big V12 Ferrari's and I don't mind contributing to his site.
Maybe I can convince him to do a Maserati 300S.......:victorious:

It's OK as you say, but nothing special. If I want to drive a prototype car I'll take one of the VRC ones for a spin.

Simtraxx are an odd crew Ferry.
Some of their efforts are really good (Provence Alps pack) and some are really poor(that Israeli pack)!
Provence Alps are one of my 'go to' drives, you certainly get a decent product for your $$$.
Some of the freebies are worth the download as well, and if they are a bit ordinary you can just delete them.

Really nice to see some of the older cars getting newer and more authentic repaints!
Lotus 33 BRM(?) 2 Litre 1966.

A classic green/yellow Lotus with Jim at the wheel. Fabulous. Just a couple of nitpicks, Mike Spence (if this is the same texture set) drove a Lotus BRM in '66 but it was a private Lotus 25 BRM for Reg Parnell. I think it mascaraded as the Yamura for at least one race. The 25 did have the longer gap in the engine covering which I don't think the 33 did. Team Lotus did run a 33 with the BRM 2 litre V8, while they waited for the H-16, but it was driven by Peter Arundell and I think it was only driven once by Jim in a race practise. Enough wittering, it's still a green Lotus with Jim at the wheel!
