Hey guys,

Erica went into labor right at halftime. I'm on my laptop while they wheel Erica into the prep room so they can change and prep her. We just got here about 2 minutes ago. I brought my laptop in so she can watch the game between contractions. She insisted, believe it or not.

I'll report back in when I have any news.

Prayers are in the air for a smooth delivery, a healthy baby and a healthy mommy. If it's a boy, you could always name it Marv Albert LOL!

Matthew Davis Talbot was born at 5:58am on February 2nd, 2009. I am happy to report he has all his fingers, thumbs, and toes! 6 pounds, 11 ounces, and 20 inches. Matthew is healthy as he could be, and man can that boy cry!

(Feel free to post Groundhog day baby jokes...C'mon, I know ya got a couple!)

Erica is doing just fine, she pulled through like a champ. I held Matthew for a long time, and I cried all over again. Those who are parents can understand. (I also made sure to wear an athletic cup, for protection. I learned my lesson from the last time.)

The only way I'd name him Marv Albert is if he came out with a toupee. Thank god he didn't, or I'd have to start saving for therapy bills! :woot:
 
Congratulation my friend. You are a real man. You cried becuase of the Gift God gave you and your wife and wrote about it!:amen::ernae::friday:

Hey Rami, if he cries a tad too much, put on a Memphis Belle DVD with the volume down low and gently sing Danny Boy... he'll soon cotton on to the idea....
