ATS Piaggio P.149 drivers, how´s your cruise speed?

I´m getting only 110 KT at 0.72 ATA 2750rpm. Manual says I should get 160?

110 KIAS is about 127 mph indicated.

Is the book making an off hand reference to a typical true airspeed at altitude?

I think they have just copied the info from wikipedia: Cruising speed 50% power at 1500m/5000ft 266kmh/165mph.

This might help; you need to consider what exact model you have, and also be somewhat familiar with reading power charts for recips. Also weights are in metric apparently. However, it seems to have a long range cruise at max weight of around 100 KIAS
