A great Video, I watch it this afternoon , one off the biggest things four times I have had the Jump seat, one trip was from Christchurch and into Wellington , two hours later the return, I think the most exciting was out off Wanaka , quiet amazing to see ANZ 1900s zip pass and listen to the chat as we headed up the valley.

I haven't been over to DC3 Airways where I am a member albeit a not very active one since spending so much of my time here making stuff. I can't wait to add it to my DC3 and get in the air in it again. Thank you sincerely for all this work.

Been following this for a very long time, really looking forward to it! I've been listening to the sound which is an absolute masterpiece,but am curious: In a lot of aircraft with constant speed props you can close the throttles in flight and because the revs don't change neither does the sound very much. The sound is influenced much more by the engine rpm (prop control.) This is certainly not represented in most stock FSX aircraft where the noise is linked directly to throttle position. Is this going to be represented with the DC-3?

^ The radial sounds are setup the same for most FSX/P3D birds using [COMBUSTION] syntax. Looked into the [PROP] syntax as an alternative, but didn't give the results the Team wanted. I don't have the expertise to write a custom code of the likes that A2A can do, so using what's available thru the FSX sound system.
Although this may not be perfect, but I think most will like how the bird sounds. There's also a few other DC3 sound sets payware/freeware that maybe suitable for ones tastes.

Can't speak for DC-3/C-47/R4D, except for a few flights as passenger, but I know the AT-6/SNJ and C-45/Beech 18 sound/feel dramatically different when you reduce the manifold pressure at constant RPM. So do Bonanza, Mooney and Cessna 210, come to think of it.
TuFun has nailed it. Simply awesome to my (now partially deaf, thanks to such engines and props) ears .

Thanks tailspin45! Since that last video, I've made minor changes. With the recent DC3 pilot training record by Alexander, I can fine tune even further.
I hate to be the guy that asks this, but will there be any scope for a gps? I'm thinking something along the lines of the Carenado C-185, which has a window click-spot for a plug-in gps, or the Lionheart Fairchild 24W, which has one in the glovebox. I'm really not much of a navigator, and could really use this lol.
