  • Special Server Maintenance

Just when you think you have everything running some what better...

You get a message from the Hosting company. Short story they need to move us to a new server. I have been working with them to plan a good date for all concerned. Here is what we have come up with as a schedule.

    1. November 4th 17:00 -5UTC shut off the forums and start backup proceedures. During this time there will be no access to the forums or the Resource Section.
    2. November 5th Continue with Backups and download same until complete.
    3. November 6th 7:00 turn over server to hosting company to move system to new server
    4. November 7th - 8th restore backups and upgrade forum software.

If all goes well we should be back online on November 8th.

To keep you updated we will post updates on AVSIM forums.

    Thank you for your support.

Attention all DC-3 fans !

Has this paint been released yet?

:adoration: I really hate those video's ... some reason I keep going for hat key switch to look around :biggrin-new: .... :encouragement:

The producer of Broken Dreams wanted to see a DC3 simulator flight and demoed this video for her. A group is building an actual DC3 simulator using a DC3 nose/cockpit section. :adoration:

Ted:

You misunderstood me- I was asking for scraps from Jan's table- not piquant appetizers from yours ;)

Seriously, lovely though- thanks for sharing!

Hahahaha! That's funny Ian, and I recognize the reflex!

LOL!

Cees :adoration: ya really do for some reason .. in ya brain case its a .. 'stop stop I want to look over there' ... but nah the dang Dak has a mind off its own ... Like its possessed and controlled by some else :wavey:

Interesting....but not a DC-3. Surprised it is still flying with those cowl flaps full open and props on #1 and #4 not feathered. Tremendous drag with those things hanging out like that.
Co-pilot flying it? :monkey:

Not quite sure why the "other Douglas" is in this thread.... but reading Jan's postings in another thread makes me ask...

"Can we expect anything new from you in the near future, (D)Jan ? Sure hope so ! :encouragement:

Cheers,
(Jan) Carl

PS- just teasing... but wanted to get this thread back on track.... at least we know the "master" can be eager about his simming too!
