• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

a few of us will be getting together
Saturday, 16 October, 11:00AM
at the Boeing Museum of Flight.

yeah, it's short notice,
but what else do you have to do?

more details can be found here;

while it is true, that it is a CFS2 thread,
it is not exclusive to CFSers.
nothing special is planned,
except an opportunity for us
to meet each other, tour the Museum,
and get out of the house for the day.
trust me, your wife will thank you for it.

so, if I can drive a hundred miles from Sequim,
you should surely be able to make it.
who knows, we might even have a good time.
see you Saturday

I went there a couple of years ago while visiting my daughters. Very nice museum. We even got in for free because it was Memorial Day weekend and we all had military IDs. We kind of had to race through the static displays outside as we didn't get there early enough to soak it all in and it was closing time. The girls were bugging me to leave after a few hours anyway as they don't have the interest level of their old man. I could have easily spent the full day there.
