Attention Rotorheads - new Nemeth/Milviz Huey UH-1C and H available

I sorta cheated on this, I made the Color Layer Pure white, Moved the Dirt layer down to just above the Color, Duplicated it, made the lower dirt Difference, and the one above Pin light. This was done to simulate Oxidization and heat warpage like you see on Motorbike Exhaust systems. Anyway the problem with this is other areas that are black may look blue. its fixable though. There were some other adjustments done also.

Tim, hope you plan on uploading this paint love the worn look both on the metal and markings :applause:

Its sitting over at www.hovercontrol.com as you read this! including the other ones I posted here. I'm just too lazy to go through the upload process multiple times, so if you want to repost it No problemo, Use at your own risk of enjoyment. ;)

Don't mean to step on some toes with this one, but I read about fire, and got all excited! so I flew it through the forest, saved some lives, and now its for sale. Still works, may need a cleaning of the air filter.

OH BTW on the H model the Exhaust is on the bottom texture UH1H_1_T part the 3 "Fan" looking parts"

Tim, great shots, can you tell me where the exhaust tip is located on the H model in the photoshop file, Been looking everywhere and have run out of energy.

Thanks In Advance

Bill

Excellent work Tim :ernae:

Mines a bit cleaner!

Tim the bare metal one is there but shows markings in avatar but states no markings

So your wonderful metal with markings is not there or I can't find it...sorry that is just one fine paint :ernae:

Yeah I removed the markings, just so that anyone could put their own "markings" on it if they wanted to. I don't like to do Closed paints but rather leave a open slate. If you want the markings I might be able to work something out, but I've got limited time during the week.

Hi Quicksand

Shes getting there - I just want to tidy up a few bits and then I will probably up load to SOH tommorrow. I only wish I knew how to increase the shine. I just dont understand any of that.

A little more shine would be cool, but regardless, you have done a wonderful job recreating this Huey. Thank you so much, my friend.:icon29:

To increase "shine" just darken the Alpha channel on the main Texture sheet.

Also if you make your main color "yellow" dark, and then open up the Specular Map and make that a "light yellow" you will end up with a Metallic type paint. I used this method on my Dodo 206 Red Bull paint over at www.hovercontrol.com. and many other planes I have done for www.flightsimnation.com

I can't really tell, but make sure "mipmaps" is off in dxtbmp if your using it. otherwise it will always look blurry.

Hi Tim - i think I understand that!! I will give it a go. Much apprechiated.:ernae:

As after 2 hours I cant find my way around photoshop elements to work on the alpha - i will upload the North Carolina repaint now - it does look better than the screenshots!!

Keep watch on the download section for it
