• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Thats how you tell if its Phoenix or Australia / Mars... We have tan skies, whereas Mars and Australia have red skies...

Been telling friends that have outside rain water tanks for supplimentary water to turn the roof downpipes away form the tanks or block the tank inlets off. When we finally get some rain it's going to wash masses of red dirt off the roof and fill the tanks up with red mud. That is if we ever get some rain again !
 
Wow that is something else. Awhile back here in west Texas we had combination rain and dust storm. it rained mud.
 
....I was outside mucking about with a tractor towing cars around, at first it looked like smoke ,but we couldnt smell fire, so we relaxed back into being busy until it got too dark at 3pm to keep goin .
next morning i could hardly breathe and took about 6 days to get my breathing back, same for my mate.
the moral of our story is
get to cover and sand bag your doors
cause this stuff is as fine as talc and can kill:isadizzy:
