I knew that you can build aircraft :d Looks great! :applause:
RoF=Rise of Flight? Will it be freely modable and do you know more about their pricing?

Seems a waste to have all that pretty wood grain that is gonna be covered by other various paint schemes. :bump:

Looks good!! :ernae:

"Nice paisley horses!"

'Firesign Theater'

Lovely work, can never be enough WW I aircraft for FS9 or FSX.

Hey guys,

No iam not the modeller (however I have a WIP bird for the FSX which iam working on). I am only painting this bird. She will be freeware of course. First, we will relase it for our mod called "War over Poland" on the Targetware engine. Then, for the FSX and finally for the RoF. I dont know how the way of adding the planes will look like, but I want this plane to be free download. I am sick because everyone wants some money, even for the sceneries done with the FSX-library objects, lol.

As for this beauty, she is WIP. The external is done, a friend of mine is working on the VC. There is one 4096x4096 texture what gives incredible detail. Iam planning to relase Austro-Hungarian and Polish skins (and Czechoslovakian one, if i ll find good sources). Those birds have incredible cammo schemes and it is a real challenge for me. With bumps and speculars she will be pretty, i hope ;)

That aircraft isn't my cup of tea, but that's true artistry and craftsmanship right there. How on earth do you do that?

The most difficult part was the pattern printed on the upper surfaces and rudder. Luckily, I have a book where there is a b/w picture of the scheme and so I was able to make an own one. Colours may not be 100% accurate, though.
As for the fuselage, you have to find good plywood textures. Belive me, painting 4096x4096 allows you to add some incredible detail. Finally, some good references, some passion, patience and practise (triple "P" ;) ) I ve been skinning for about 4 years, but this one and the Hispano-suiza powered Bristol Fighter (for another sim engine) which I ve completed recently make me happy with the results. But it is still a long way to have such skill as IDCP, Randy (BvBlutwurst) and many, many more great repainters out here and there. Thanks for your kind words, Gents!

Beautiful bird!! :applause:

And it would be sacrilege to cover that superb woodwork with paint.
