I am trying to install into Win7....I understand I need the new .exe fix. Does anyone know where I can find it?

Dick

Are you talking about a 64b OS? As far as I know it should work on a 32b OS, it was the 64b OS that needed a revised exe file. I found a link to the revised 64b exe file in a thread at avsim back in the last half of 2009. If this is what you want and you can not find the link at avsim send me a pm with your email address.

Hi guy's

Yes, the one I'm looking for is the autothumbnail_v2.exe for Win7...goes back to 2009. It's no longer available fron AVSIM.

Autothumbnail v2 - Fix for Windows 7

Hi guy's

The original Autothumbnail R2 was not written for Windows Vista or Windows 7 systems so it did not work on those systems.

It still IS available from AVSIM link in below. Once you login the link will take to the file. Enjoy!!

The fix generated for Windows Vista also works on Windows 7.

Installation
------------

1. Complete the installation as described in the original package.

2. Make a note of where the code was installed.

3. Unzip the contents of this package to a work area.

4. Copy the Autothumbnail.exe file from the work area to overwrite the Autothumbnail.exe generated during the installation.

The original Autothumbnail.exe shows a size of 28k
The replacement shows a size of 21k.
