Rangoon is attacked by 16 Japanese Bombers with Nate escort. The AVG sent up 8 planes to intercept from Mingaladon and turned them back shooting down several and heavily damaging most.

Don't forget the British who flew from Moulmien in the defense of Rangoon.They flew side by side with the AVG and were responcable for the bombing of several Japanese airfields.
