Funny thing is, Avsim didn't have the news for many hours after we posted it already. But it seems SOH and simFlight readers and forum visitors are more level headed than those on Avsim. No panic here that I can see.

Or maybe we just use better technology ? :gossip:

The news has been in the Avsim forum for quite a while. By the time the main news hit the front page, the forum already had multiple threads that were page after page long.

The main page is often not updated till later it seems.

FWIW, AVSIM has continuously upgraded/replaced their hardware over the years. The last major hardware replacement having taken place less than six months ago.

The forum software they recently installed is a licensed, professionally coded platform. I do note that they are looking for a new Tech Manager though...
