The fact that he did "Police Academy" just proves what a good sport he was.
Besides being a great football player and person. He will be missed. You can be sure
when the first season football game starts the announcers will mention this.
 
shame,,only 66,,,he was one of those "good guys"...allways admired him...he could play the fool in a movie or tv show without being an ass.....and was allways a man...

Odd... I was thinking the other day that he hasn't done anything (acting) in a long time. Purely a random thought. Now he's passed. Many thanks Bubba for all the entertainment over the years.
 
I was just watching 'Police Academy' the other day after flipping through the channels. Those movies are guilty pleasures, for sure....and he was great as Hightower. Godspeed and RIP, Bubba.
