Excellent story and footage of bravery.Turn up your volume. More than half of the men KIA'ed in WWII were airmen.

<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />This event in WWII should be considered for a movie...Wow, what bravery and determination to survive under overwhelming odds.

This would indeed make a great movie. I read someplace that this mission was the only one in WW-II where two people won the CMH, in the same crew, on the same mission. One of them, unfortunately in this case, postumously. The story of Jay Zeamer before this mission would also contribute to a great movie.
