I have not been able to locate a B-25B.Anyone know if there is one? Preferably in early war skin ie doolittle raid.

B-25b

I belive there's a B-25B on Flightsim or Simviation, and either Flightsim or Simviation has the whole set of skins for Doolitle's Raiders available as individual downloads.

If this is what you're looking for, go to simviation and search under Tom Sanford. you should find the model there. Also, RevEv. did all the Doolittle skins for the stock B-25. if I'm not mistaken.

Bringing back an old thred here but this is a project I started and want to finish.Since involves just one mission should be fairly quick to finish once find whats needed. This begins with the B-25.I have searched for an actual B-25B for CFS 2.Is there one? I found TR B-25C which with the skin is an okay stand in but would prefer an actual B if there is one. I tried the links above but took me nowhere.

The TR_B-25C_TkyoSlpr was made for the Doolittle Raid and has an extra fuel tank for it.I have not seen a B-25 B anywhere for CFS2.

Thanks.Yes I have found, Im working on converting the OH B-25D to B model standards. The B ,C , and D, had the same guns(the doolittle B had the belly turrets removed, unlike the standard b) no WEP, etc.Main issue now just trying to get the DP figured out for the B, to carry the 300 gal internal drop tank the TR 25's carry.Maybe add a new panel etc.Disabled WEP, can takeoff the VN Hornet*using it since has deck painted as it was in the doolittle raid) with 4 500 lb bombs and 175 gal internal tank(corsair tank the works) but is a challenge each time.Once DP is figured out and have fuel set properly, will test fly to see what kind of range can get but do know will need the big internal drop tank.

You will also have to fix the air file to use the extra fuel tank.I never have used the WEP to takeoff from Hornet with either B-25.Doolittle Raid missions have been done a few times that's why all the skins.

Which fuel tank? I added the 300 gallon internal drop, it feeds fine.Opened up air file with default fuel plus the 300 gallons figured it would be enough fuel.Would I need to do something more? I need to learn how to do GSL scenery.Tokyo needs some buildings etc

B-25 panel and VCpanel

Dave

I was never satisfied with the panels or VCpanels provided for either the Overhauled or TR B-25. Although I do not have the skills for revising the VCpanel, I have developed several panels for these planes. I have a modified B-25J panel and a revised simpler panel. Both rely heavily on standard gauges and are Windows7 compatible. Let me know if you could use them.
